    Our Story

    A veteran-owned business that started in 2019, Obsidian Performance Fitness Solutions. Our fitness Program was created by ex Force Reconnaissance Marine Micah Blake. As a special forces operator I  wanted to help fitness enthusiasts, who want to create the best version of themselves and achieve their lifestyle goals. I believe that physical fitness can be accessible and effective for everyone. After years of research and development, I created a program that is fun, challenging, and produces real results.

    Hello, I'm Colton. I fell in love with fitness after setting the goals of becoming physically healthier and obtaining a more aesthetic physique. After my first year of training and learning I discovered that enjoy training. The process of building new muscle tissue as a means to mold my physique motivated me to work harder. This led me to dive deep into researching and studying the training methods that will help you achieve real muscular hypertrophy as well as the strength.

    My mission is to share the knowledge I've learned. Which has helped me with my own body recomposition, with serious and dedicated individuals who have the drive and disciple to change their physique, lifestyle, and build new muscle. As a NASM certified Personal Trainer with several years of weight lifting training experience. I can bring your training methods to a new, more efficient level. I want to assist you in successfully achieving muscular hypertrophy and crush your goals in the gym. Let me help you unlock your hidden potential.

    My name is Priestley, and I am a 26-year-old certified personal trainer. I moved to Texas to follow my passion for health and fitness. I've got a deep commitment to helping others achieve their fitness goals. I bring a blend of expertise and motivation, as well as a personalized approach to every client. Whether it's strength training or a weight loss journey. I create training programs that are tailored to each clients individual needs, empowering them to live healthier lives while also inspiring and motivating them to be their best. I am dedicated to staying on top of the latest developments in the fitness industry, applying new techniques to optimize your fitness journey.     Challinyer


    My name is Challinyer Aguirre, a 20-year-old

     standout in powerlifting and bodybuilding area. I proudly clinched the regional championship and secured 7th place in all of of Texas during the 2023-2024 THSPA Association powerlifting season. I proudly achieved these remarkable lifts of a 435lb bench press, a 535lb squat, and a 585lb deadlift, all at a body weight of 198lbs. My training philosophy centers on personalized 1-on-1 sessions, tailoring workouts to blend comfort with challenge, meeting your unique standards. I’m passionate about guiding individuals on a transformative journey. I enjoy helping them see the art of body sculpting and breaking through limits that they never thought possible.
    Lifting has profoundly transformed my perspective on life. It has taught me to find beauty in the struggle and reaffirmed that anything is achievable through hard work and dedication. For over three years, this passion has consumed me. Initially, I wasn't the strongest or the biggest—I felt more like a twig. Yet, in just eight months, I gained 50 pounds going from 130lbs to 181lbs and achieved lifts I once thought unattainable. Then, within three months, I shed 16 pounds, reaching the best shape of my life. Lifting has not only boosted my confidence but also served as a mental reset. I've emerged as a different person, in the best way possible.
    The journey wasn't all just lifting tho. The real challenge was the nutrition side that was needed fuel my workouts and assist me achieve my goals. I became obsessed with being the best version of myself. I had to eat an outstanding 3500 calories to fuel my workouts and some days I ate 5000 calories a day for developing muscle. I constantly tracked my calories and the days that I'd miss would leave me devastated. The journey was worth it and very humbling .Here at Obsidian Performance Fitness Solutions the team and I specialize in crafting and structuring personalized training and nutrition plans to help you become your best self.

    Emmerson


      At Obsidian Performance, our mission is to equip you with every available tool to help you meet—and exceed—your health and performance goals. We offer a variety of lab tests to support your journey. Blood tests are submitted through your nearest LabCorp facility. Once your lab order is processed, you’ll receive a notification. After completion, results will be sent directly to you and, if you choose, your coach. Other testing options are conveniently shipped to your home. Once completed and received, results will be delivered directly to you. You may also schedule a personalized review if you'd like to add that service. Emmerson Jespersen is a Funtional Medicine Practioner.
       We’ve partnered with Emmerson to provide our clients with the most advanced and cutting-edge testing available. Emmerson has spent the last 12 years on a mission to master health and wellness. He began as a yoga teacher, later diving into strength training and powerbuilding under the mentorship of Micah. Since then, he’s dedicated himself to bodybuilding and deepening his knowledge in holistic health, ultimately earning his certification in Functional Medicine through the RSN Institute.
      When you choose to include a review with any of your testing, you’ll receive a personalized consultation with Emmerson. Together, we’ll develop a targeted strategy to optimize your health markers through lifestyle changes, protocols, and supplementation all designed to support your goals and long-term wellness. This information will also be integrated with your coach to eliminate guesswork and provide the most advanced, results-driven coaching available. We recommend a staggered approach to testing. Begin with comprehensive bloodwork and focus on optimization over a few months. From there, we suggest adding an advanced hormone test (DUTCH), followed by a gut Microbiome test, then there after a DNA analysis. This step-by-step method not only delivers powerful insight—it’s also more budget-friendly.
